DATES of the Vision-Choir

Our Vision Choir arrived back in Uganda late at night last Friday!

We are so thankful for this great and successful 3-month tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.It was a wonderful time for the children and escorts and they could be a blessing to thousands of people.

The tour in numbers:

16 children
8 adults
90 days on tour
3 countries
20 regions
68 concerts
Many smaller concerts in schools, nursery schools and pedestrian zones
Many thousand visitors (an average of about 250-300 visitors per concert)
Concerts from 5m sea level (Stralsund, East Sea) up to 1674m sea level (Hochfelln, Bayern)
Many free time activities such as swimming, cable cars, roller coaster, playgrounds, museum and zoo
1 Bus for the whole tour
2 bus drivers (Ivan and Heinz, you were great!)
600 hours was the engine of the bus on (about half of that was our driving from and to the concerts)
13.000 km did we drive with our bus
3.200 l Diesel were required for this journey

New dates with the Vision Choir

Currently we are singing sporadically in various locations here in Uganda, e.g. sunday services, celebrations and for our "Come & See!" guests.

A date for another tour to Europe is not yet fixed but will be published here as soon as there are concrete plans. (poss. 2012/2013)
