Land of Hope - Children Homes (Orphanages)

... is one of the projects undertaken by "Vision for Africa Intl." - a ministry dedicated to addressing the plight of thousands of African disadvantaged Orphanage children in Africa through offering education, spiritual and physical care and custody of orphaned children among others.
Our target is to have 12 children to be accommodated in 12 beautiful, well facilitated houses next to each other. We currently (October 2010) have six houses which house around 60 children.

Staff caring for our children

Head Mother is living with the children, the closest person to the children;
Supporting Mothers helping in household, cooking, playing with children,...
Supporting Volunteers, mostly from Europe, who come for some months to be part of the Children homes and to support the mothers in the house work and with the children;

Mission

To provide a conducive home where orphaned children can be brought up with a good sense of self esteem, love, care and the love of God.

Objectives

• To provide good care and custody to orphaned children.
• To provide godly love to the orphans and give them a chance to experience the love God has for each of them.
• To provide a foster parent to each child (for those who totally have no traceable background) so as to grow up with a sense of belonging.
