A much celebrated printing machine was donated to Vision for Africa! Now the printery at Vision for Africa can print their own colored papers and brochures. The quality painted from this machine is professional. When the printer swallows the blank paper and sends out a beautiful brochure, you would think that the process is very easy.
However, it is anything but easy. The person operating the machine must position the paper just right. Everything must be measured perfectly. Just one millimeter off and the brochure is only a partial brochure. To get proper measurements, one must know how to work with this machine.
This is why such a machine is so important for the printery to have. It allows the students to learn how use the equipment needed to become successful printers.
During a lesson, Mr. Horst, the leader of the media design school, takes some of his students and explains to them how to properly work the printery machines. After the lesson, they work on what they learned by working with a certain machine.
The printery students are very thankful for the machines. Not only can Vision for Africa print out its own media, but the students will now be able to work with this equipment. Without this machine, the students would not be able to master the use of using such technology.
