Last year in November one of the visitors of our website connected us to an IT service provider in Germany. The Fiducia IT AG (www.fiducia.de) is offering IT services especially in the finance sector. Discarded but still functional hardware is thereby not disposed but rather given to charitable NGOs for for free for their further use!
We could now also benefit from this - in a generous donation we got a number of Notebooks and Desktop PCs and even a Server and accessories for free! Yet the donated equipment is not dated or even damaged at all, it was just replaced with new equipment after some time as it is common in large companies.
Here in Uganda these PCs will now still serve for another couple of years and help us in the offices and schools.
The donation is already packed in a container and - together with many other donations - on the way to Uganda where it is expected to arrive early in spring.
A great "Thank You" to the Fiducia IT AG for this great gift!
Last but not least wa also want to thank all other donors that have given something and helped to fill the container with clothes, bicycles, toys and many other things!
