We just received a great donation of 4 pallets of bandaging material for our clinic!

On November 27^th we had a great Graduation party for our nursery kids who just finished Top class and will join Primary school next year.

After one year lacking a baker, life is taken back to the oven and machinery and you can smell the aroma of fresh baked goodies even from the street.

Vision for Africa primary school has had its first national exams, i.e. Primary Leaving Examination (P.L.E.) set by Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) on the 2^nd and 3^rd of November 2010.

Every Saturday the children from our children homes help us in keeping the compound around their houses clean and even the area around the kindergarten and the playground.

The above examinations were prepared in a bid to assess the candidates' performance as they come closer to their end of course examinations.

The task of the sponsorship-office is to support poor children with school fees. To make sure our help really reaches the most needy, we visit the families and see how they live.

Finally the long awaited moment of the Kiyunga outreach came. The outreach began on the 8th  October 2010. It has been such a great moment I believe in heaven and a great loss and blow to the enemy's camp.

The 16th of July/2010 will never be erased from the history of Mount Galilee Children’s Ministry for on this day, the foundation stone of Mount Galilee Kindergarten has been laid.

On July 15th we could celebrate the inauguration of different new buildings. Many friends, visitors and guests of honour came in order to thank God together with us for what he has made possible within the last couple of years, and to inaugurate the newest buildings

A much celebrated printing machine was donated to Vision for Africa! Now the printery at Vision for Africa can print their own colored papers and brochures.

We had another “Born to Win Our Father is the King” conference for all Vision for Africa students in the universities and vocational schools throughout Uganda.  About 300 students attended.

In a technological world, many people would feel lost and bored without television or internet. However, in a place where such technologies are not common, children develop very creative ways to keep themselves entertained.

We got so many donations, that soon a second one will follow.

In May we held a conference dubbed “New Life in Christ” for all our staff here at the Land of Hope.

We are currently preparing a container with material for Uganda! Help us filling it!

One of our volunteers recieved funds from her old high school to give to children in Africa. The money was used to bless 30 young children who were able to go to the zoo in Entebbe.

To visit one of these houses is a great experience, but many people wonder what it is like to be a house mother. The mothers of House of Hope have given us a peak into their lives.

End of February 7 visitors from Europe, USA and even China visited us to “Come & See” what God is doing here through Vision for Africa. 2010 there will be 5 more of such tours that you can still join!

On Febuary 1, students have returned for class after the Christmas holidays. The atmosphere is one of excitement and anticipation, especially for the primary school which has opened a new grade this year.
